Promotech was created in 1980 as a spin-off from the University (Institut National Polytechnique).
                      

It is a Européan Community Business and Innovative Centre agreed by the European Commission and member of the European network EBN.
                                 

Promotech is located on the technopole of Nancy and part of the local and regional network for innovative spin-off companies.
